What is an Energy Advisor?

  • Energy Advisors (EA) are specialists in measuring and improving the energy efficiency of a home.
  • EA are third-party consultant who work closely with builders, renovators and homeowners to help reduce energy consumption
  • EAs visit homes to perform energy audits, analyse energy usage, and come up with solutions to make a home more energy efficient. Before retrofits occur on a home, they need to be inspected by an EA who will provide specific recommendation for retrofits needed.
