Housing Support

Housing can be overwhelming, especially during times of crisis. Our Housing Program offers compassionate, respectful, and culturally safe support every step of the way. Whether someone is looking for housing, facing eviction, struggling to pay rent or utilities, or simply needs guidance navigating available resources, we're here to help. Our goal is to walk alongside our members and support them in achieving long-term housing stability.

About the Program

Keepers of the Circle’s Housing Stability Program helps improve the well-being of Indigenous individuals and families by reducing barriers to housing and providing culturally safe supports. Stable housing creates opportunities for healthier families, increased independence, improved financial stability, and stronger community connections. By advocating for our members and connecting them with housing opportunities and resources, we help build stronger and healthier communities.

Our Indigenous Housing Support Worker provides individualized support to Indigenous individuals and families who are experiencing housing instability, homelessness, or are at risk of losing their housing. They work one-on-one with members to help them access safe, affordable, and stable housing while providing advocacy, housing navigation, and ongoing supports to help them maintain successful tenancies.
