MMIWG Calls for Justice 13.5 Research
We are researching the MMIWG Calls for Justice implementation in resource development planning. Currently we are hosting engagements across Turtle Island with Indigenous women and gender diverse peoples with lived experience working or living in close proximity to large scale resource development projects to give them a platform to bring forward their priorities and concerns.
This research will culminate in an evaluative framework communities may use to implement gender specific initiatives in development projects, in addition to providing guidance for GBA+ in Impact Assessment projects.
